I was born in the 80s, but for the most part, I’m a child of the 90s. I love Nirvana, Michael Jordan, Super Nintendo and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Once upon a time I loved Captain Planet, professional wrestling and Desert Storm trading cards too.
Today I stumbled upon a wonderous revamp of a 90s classic. It turns out, EA Sports is resurrecting the one and only NBA Jam. Remember the one-of-a-kind 2-on-2 arcade game that featured ridiculous dunks, shots and some very 90s urban slang from a very … ahem … non-urban announcer? It’s coming back and EA wants your help to choose which 3 players should be featured for each team. Click the link above to go vote (it’s been going on for some time apparently and you can vote on Cleveland, San Antonio and Portland right now). You can also read a blog post ESPN writer Marc Stein wrote on the subject, giving the three players he’d most like to see on the list. And for you social networkers, follow NBA Jam on Twitter or on Facebook.
