Nathan Magstadt runs the 110-meter hurdles.
Dickinson State track and field coach Pete Stanton said Tuesday that he has (finally) received two letters of intent from a pair of Dickinson standouts.
Dickinson High graduate and state champion hurdler Nathan Magstadt and Dickinson Trinity High School graduate Melissa Bachamp, the Class B state pole vault runner-up as a senior, will compete for the Blue Hawks next year.
Magstadt won the Class A boys 110-meter hurdles (14.96 seconds) and 300 hurdles (38.77) titles in May. He was also earned all-state in the 800 and 1,600 relays.
Bachamp jumped 9 feet, 6 inches at the state meet to come up 3 inches short of a state title. However, her personal best jump is 10-1.
