Kovacs to play for Motor City

Dickinson High graduate Ross Kovacs, who was drafted by the Motor City Metal Jackets of the NAHL in May, has signed to play with the team following a weekend tryout camp in Trenton, Mich.

Kovacs was the 157th overall pick in the NAHL draft. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound defenseman played in 48 games for the Russell Stover Stars Tier I hockey team in Olathe, Kan., last winter and spring. He had six goals and 12 assists for the Stars.

Interestingly, you can watch the Metal Jackets’ games on the B2 Network, the same place you can watch Dickinson State events.
