While DSU was playing Rocky Mountain last night, 14th-ranked Minot State was gearing up for their move to Division II in their season opener against Bemidji State in the annual Beaver Bash.

All you only need to know about this game is the final score, Bemidij State 24-7, and the total yards differential, 499-80, and I’ll let you make your own judgments from there.

To be fair, DSU was outgained 509-109 in a loss to eventual D-III champion Wisconsin-Whitewater last season in its home opener. But, for that matter, there’s not much of a comparison between Bemidji State and Wisconsin-Whitewater.
