DSU men’s basketball signs 4

Johnie Sanders, 6-4, Sr., G, Northwest Oklahoma State (Alva, Okla.), Minneapolis

Sanders averaged 10.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 48.1 percent from the field in two seasons at Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colo.

He averaged 4.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and shot 49 percent from the field for Northwest Oklahoma State as a junior.


James Steen, 6-4, Jr., F, Dawson Community College (Glendive, Mont.), Detroit

Steen averaged 7 points and 6 rebounds per game for Dawson CC and possesses the ability to play multiple positions.


Jordan Mirich, 6-0, Fr., G, Lingle, Wyo. (Lingle-Fort Laramie High School)

Mirich averaged 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists per game for Lingle-Fort Laramie as a senior and was selected to both Wyoming’s all-star basketball and football games.


Casper Hesseldal, 6-6, Sr., F, Fresno Pacific (Fresno, Calif.) Aarhus, Demark

Hesseldal veraged 7.3 points, 4.9 rebounds per game at Fresno Pacific as a junior.

He spent his first two seasons at Northwest College in Powell, Wyo., where he averaged 14 points and 6 rebounds per game.
