The Pan American Games began Friday in Guadalajara, Mexico. Three former Dickinson State track standouts will be competing in the games beginning Monday, Oct. 24, at the Telmex Athletics Stadium in Zapopan.
From The Bahamas, Ramon Miller will compete in the 400-meter open and the 1,600 relay while Adrian Griffith will race in the 100 meters and the 400 relay.
From Guatemala, three-time 400-meter hurdles national champion Allan Ayala will compete.
Griffith and Miller begin competition Oct. 24 and will race until Oct. 28 if they reach the finals of their relay events. Ayala starts Oct. 26 and will race Oct. 27 if he reaches the finals.
