Dickinson State alumnus Trevor Barry, an Olympic qualifier in the high jump, will sign autographs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at King Pavilion on Saturday. TeamDSU Olympic T-shirts can be purchased for $6 and tank tops for $10.
Barry, from the Bahamas, is qualified for the 2012 London Olympics with a height of 7 feet, 7 inches, the 12th-best height in the world.
It will be the 28-year-old’s first Olympic Games. He won a bronze medal last year at the World Championships. He will be joined at the Olympics by DSU alumni Derrick Atkins and Ramon Miller, also from the Bahamas. Atkins will run in the 100 meters and Miller is qualified in the 200, 400 and 1,600 relay.
