Back-to-back 30-point games has made Beach junior forward Cydni Stedman the new Region 7 scoring leader. Her teammate, junior guard Hailee Farstveet, has held the top spot much of the season. Stedman is averaging 17.6 points per game and Farstveet adds 17.3 for the Buccaneers.

Stedman had 34 points in a win over Heart River on Feb. 7 and scored 31 to help defeat Divide County on Feb. 9. No other girls player in Region 7 has eclipsed 30 points this season. Beach averages 63.4 points per game, nearly 10 points more than Bowman County, who ranks second in the region at 53.8 points per game.

New England junior Gabbi Hanson has helped her team win five of its last six games and is now the No. 3 scorer in the region at 14.6 points per game. The Tigers have the top-ranked scoring defense ahead of Beach. New England is giving just 40.6 points per game while Beach allows 41.1.
